Clinical Approach:

My philosophy as a counselor starts with giving every individual the acceptance, care, and understanding that they deserve. I find that a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Feminist Theory, Inner Child Work, Attachment Theory, and a solutions-focused approach can help clients’ work through past and present inner struggles, feel that they authentically have worth, and deserve love and happiness. By bringing unconscious struggles and beliefs into one’s awareness, I truly believe that as the primary experts in their lives, individuals can develop understanding towards themselves and learn how to better navigate their day-to-day lives. I also believe my role as a counselor is to see an individual’s uniqueness and humanity, show them my genuine self, acknowledge and understand my majority identities, and be a fierce advocate for my clients in and outside of the therapeutic space.

Hobbies:

Playing Men’s Fastpitch Softball, Attending Concerts, Coaching Softball, Volleyball, Trying new coffeeshops and restaurants, Disc Golf, Traveling, Working Out, Thrifting, and spending time with friends and family.
