More About Justin Ramirez
Clinical Interests:
I spent the past three years working in an integrated care setting where I was a member of the primary care team. In this role, I worked with both individuals and families by providing care across their lifespans to support their personalized goals and care plans. I am passionate about partnering with people to support them with their goals and ultimately reduce impairment from mental health concerns. I welcome people with a broad range of presenting challenges to see if I might be a good fit to be part of their care team. I enjoy providing both brief, focused care for specific challenges and ongoing care for persistent challenges. I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQ2S+ individuals as I have a commitment to caring for communities I am part of.
Clinical Approach:
My approach to care is rooted in the belief that therapy is most effective when there is a good fit/connection between all parties involved. My goal is to foster an environment where people can be vulnerable about their lived experience and are met with empathy, support, and a commitment from me to engage in continued education and growth. Overall, I utilize an eclectic therapeutic approach drawing from training in numerous modalities such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and accelerated resolution therapy.
Hobbies:
I enjoy baking, reading, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
